Hey Everyone. I figured I’d do a collection series on the makeup I have and after much thought I decided to do a MAC eyeshadow collection series. Since it is the 25th year anniversary since the birth of MAC Cosmetics I thought it would be most appropriate. I had this idea because I have been waiting for the Simpson Collection which is in conjunction with the anniversary. I’ve yet to collect my Simpson stash! But while I was travelling, the idea of sharing my stash popped into my head. I thought why not since I have been using MAC products for 12 years now and my very first product was the eyeshadow (Carbon and Star Violet was my first purchase).
The obsession and especially the collecting of eyeshadows started when I was studying abroad and at the time I was obsessed with mainly 3 brands ( NARS, MAC and Dior). Ultimately I am an eyeshadow junkie (that I must confess) so the collection I have (bought 0r given over the years gradually) is mostly eyeshadows. I know its not a normal amount to have but what’s a girl to do? I have no self control when I go to the make up counter or boutique. I suddenly suffer from temporary insanity when I’m on there. The plethora of colours suddenly speak to me and they somehow end up coming home with me! haha 😛 I also have family and friends that are generous enough to give me makeup as presents because they know I love makeup and I will wear it.
I also thought it would be nice to have a summary to share on what I have for people who wants to start a MAC eyeshadow palette. Maybe the pictures and description could help some of you whom are interested.
I will be posting up the series gradually so keep on coming back if you like to check on the progress. In this series I will feature only the permanent MAC eyeshadows that I have. Then, sometime mid month I will include another eyeshadow series from another of my brands which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. 🙂
